The Burger Guys' Review
Reviewed March 15, 2018
The Saratoga Burger at The Saratoga offers a mixed bag of flavors and textures that might intrigue some but leave others wanting. The bun, while praised for its delicate suppleness and sweetness, suffers from an oily texture that detracts from its otherwise commendable consistency. The double patties, though promising in theory, fall short with a dryness that fails to deliver the expected meaty punch. Instead, the sharpness of the slaw and pickles takes center stage, providing a tangy contrast that some might find overpowering. The cheese adds a nice texture, but the overall saltiness of the burger can be a bit much for sensitive palates. While the burger has its memorable moments, it ultimately struggles to find a harmonious balance, resulting in an experience that is more forgettable than fantastic.
