The Belcampo Double-Fast at Belcampo SF Soma is a burger that aims for the stars but lands somewhere in the middle. Imagine a gourmet take on a classic fast-food favorite, but with a few hiccups along the way. The delivery experience left much to be desired, with the burger arriving cold and compact, resembling more of a dense cube than a juicy delight. The meat, unfortunately, was too thick and lacked the warmth and flavor one hopes for, while the cheese was a sticky, mushy affair. On the brighter side, the bun managed to hold its own, maintaining its structure despite the journey. This burger might shine brighter when enjoyed fresh at the restaurant, but as a delivery option, it falls short of its potential. Overall, it’s a burger with promise, but one that needs the right conditions to truly deliver.
